Recent updates to Teacher Pages, School News posts, and SmartSend emails make them more versatile and easier to use.

Dramatically Improved Image Handling

• Drag and drop/upload images from your computer (URL not required, but still supported).
• Click-and-drag to resize images.
• Intelligent compression automatically resizes large images to keep them within the email’s border.
• Save images to a “Favorites” collection for reuse.

Improved Tables Features

• Quick and easy to create.
• Easy editing and formatting changes without HTML.
• Drag and drop to rearrange, change column and row sizes, and more.

Additional Enhancements

• New fonts: 15 typefaces to choose from.
• Superscript and subscript styles.
• Expanded ordered and unordered list styles.
• Adjustable line heights and improved indent/de-dent formatting.

We have successfully deployed the following system updates:

• School News & Teacher Pages: Minor fixes on page loading.
• WiseData Update: Added  Graduation Status Opt In checkbox.

For Catholic schools, new fields have been added to the Staff Page for Catechetical Certification:

• Catechetical Certification
• Issuance (date)
• Expiration (date)

For administrators, a new setting under Settings > School Profile > School Logo allows schools to select their school logo from images saved in Gradelink or upload a new one. This default image will appear in various upcoming features that can incorporate a school logo.

For existing schools, Gradelink pre-selected what appeared to the best logo image from each school account. If no suitable image was found, a generalized laurel wreath graphic was substituted.

Show Service Hours on Transcripts:

Transcripts can now display approved Student Service Hours totals per school year. Click here for details.

Improved Date Range Filtering on Service Hours:

Instead of fixed start and end dates that must be updated manually, set the Month/Day for Start and End (e.g., Sept 01 / May 31). The date range filter will update automatically based on this setting for the current school year.

This is the default date for schools based on their first term’s start date and last term’s end dates, but schools can adjust to suit their individual situation.

The dates will now persist when switching between sub-tabs.

Introducing new Absence Reporting, designed to make life easier for parents and staff. Now, reporting absences is faster than ever through the parent portal or Student/Parent App. And opted-in teachers and admins receive instant email notifications.

Google Single Sign-On (SSO) is now live on the Gradelink Student/Parent Mobile App.

We’ve completely redesigned the look and feel of Gradelink District Login and improved its performance to enhance the user experience. It provides district- or diocesan-wide access to powerful tools, including:

• Email with groups and recipient types (all active staff, all alumni, etc.).
• Comprehensive reports for all of your schools.
• Census data, including analytics and maps.
• Detailed student and staff information.

We’ve upgraded SmartSend Pro’s voice messaging system to ensure your important notifications appear as legitimate and trusted on parents’ phones. As a result, they’re much less likely to be flagged as “spam,” blocked, or ignored by phone carriers.
